The lastest news here is that the regional manager (meaning Western Canada? BC? not sure) told my dealer that there isn't one going to Victoria despite SaltSpringSky proving ! Makes you wonder if there's anyone really at the helm at Saturn.
BTW, what are your plans if there's too much snow and for the rest of the winter? And anything you say can and will be used against Saturn Canada!

I can understand your frustration regarding the allocations. I have no idea how they decide which dealer gets one first. Put names in a hat, fishbowl...flip a coin??? My dealer (2 locations) has delivered at least 10 base Skys so far; maybe convertible sales are higher in Winnipeg than Vancouver? Rain is not as frequent here as on either coast? Not sure if I would have ordered if I was told I had to wait a year or more. I hear they're well worth the wait though.
If there's anymore significant snowfall before I pick up my car, I'll have it delivered on a flatbed truck/trailer to my shop where it'll be stored 'til spring.
Snow, sand , salt and -30 C won't go over well with a convertible!
Expecting 11 C tomorrow which should melt what little snow is left.
MAYBE I'll get to drive it for a few days before winter really hits!
