in reality you should not have HID running lights.. DRL run at a lower watt then the low beams on your car the lower wattage will cause damage to the HID.. so that is somthing to think about.. ALSO HIDs will not blind you when put in our housing we have projectors they have a cut off line and light will not go above that point.. HID distort light alot more and throw it everwear.. only time HID will blind you is when retards put them in a regular housing.. .. as for install most all are plug and play now a days.. look for a kit that has ballest and ignitor built into one box they are less apt to fail like the ones that have a ingnitor box and ballest box.. hope this helps and clears stuff up for everyone
