I have been reading this forum for many months and found it quite useful and entertaining while waiting for my Redline to arrive. Well I took delivery on January 29th and because its winter in Michigan, I had to get my car home and in the garage before the snow storm that day. So fast forward to March where we had a beautiful 80 degree day and I was going to take my Redline out so I could experience the same permagrin that many of you talk about while driving your Sky Redline. I start the car up and on comes the check engine light! Rough idling and no power, all this with 20 miles on the car. I call Onstar to have them do a vehicle diagnostics and they come back with a misfire code. I finally got the car towed to the dealership today to have it repaired. Here's my question is for anyone that had the same misfire problem. Is there any chance that this damaged the engine and is there anything I should be discussing with my dealership? Any input would be greatly appreciated.
