Scuffed or Scraped Chin Vendor Product Needed

Ok. I just joined the club of the scuffed/scrapped chin. It was a very small dip and I was hoping that sound was the air deflector - nope. After looking at the damage it was not too bad, but it bothers me. I got to thinking - it would be really easy to make an aftermarket product to attach to the bottom of this front air dam that rolls about 1/4 inch above the front edge and rolls underneath about 2 inches. - see the pictures between the red line. Also notice from the close up there are some very easy attachment points for it.

A nice piece of molded satin black polymer and bingo. It would be small enough in the front and go back enough to cover most of the scuffes and scraps. The black color would be small enough to be universal - if done right - to be pretty clean on all colors.

Calling all vendors who read this forum. Come up with that product and I think you'll have a winner. Sure would save a bunch of money instead of repairing/replacing and repainting those front ends. It would be easily replaceable for those repeated scrapes that you all know that will happen again no matter how careful we are. This one is free if it has not been thought of yet. I searched for scrape and vendor and did not see anything about a product for this. Sounds like a winner. It doesn't seem like it would be that hard to make.

I just don't want to replace the front end piece, but I would like to clean up that scrape. Almost makes we want to hit a wall to get the insurance to take care of it.

If anyone is aware of anything like this please let me know.

Thanks,
AstroSky
