Goof off seems a little harsh and was afraid it might screw up more than it helped. Thought I'd try something less severe at first anyway. It wasn't too awfully bad until I tried the bug and tar stuff and that just made a mess.

A product called "freeze it" which is essentially gum remover found at any local janitorial supply store, once the gum is froze, take an old credit card and gently scrape off the gum, I do this all the time with gum on carpet. Gary
