First off, a dyno from 100rpm isn't even possible. Your engine would die. You *might* be able to pull from 1000 rpm, but I doubt it. Could have been an automatic car on the dyno, which are more difficult to dyno from lower rpms.

Whats the matter though, any kind of spirited driving occurs above 3500 rpms. Any loss of power below that you'd never notice with your foot in the pedal. "Around-town" cruising? Your not using 100% throttle anyway, again, you'd never see the max potential at the low rpms, and would never notice the difference.

It doesnt take but 10 or 20hp to keep moving at 45 mph.
