The real point was that after some extended cool spells we are reall kicking into warm weather inphilly. 93 degrees for end of may in philly is definately on the high side. Right now its hotter in Philly than in Little rock.
BTW..looking at average temps... Little Rock averages 92 in July and August... a whopping 7 degrees warmer than Philly. woo-hoo. I could handle that much more easily than you could make it through a Philly January when the high can be 18 with a wind chill of -10 for 2 weeks, and then a Nor'easter blizzard tosses in 18 inches of snow just for fun.
Yeah, the cold is colder in Upstate NY, and the hot is Hotter in Florida... but NO ONE has the extremes of both sides like we do in Philly (& NY/Was)!!!
Heck.. for the opening baseball series this year.. it was 72 in April on opening day, and for the 3rd game of the same series.... it SNOWED!!
That all being said... No hurricanes or earthquakes up here!

Well, I grew up in State College and York, Pa and I can take the cold much more easily than I can the heat. It isn't the temperature so much down here as it is the damn humidity and albatross sized mosquitos from the fish farms, rice fields, and bayous.
It doesn't do your Dad any good being bigger than mine when all yours does is take a licking from other Dads.
