You have the option of sending in your ECM for reprogramming I did and no crank relearn, you can do the relearn with the Dashawk. On Star can not read the ECm only codes, the dealership can't even read the ECM, and Yes the ECM retune voids the waranty on the ECM about $400 it does not void the entire warranty, that is Federal Law not up to the Service manager to decide. If this was the case changing the radio would void the waranty, it does void the warranty on THE RADIO. Calling a dealer and asking them is crazy, of course they tell you it voids the warranty they want your money. I used to be a service writter and many try and make you pay for things that are covered and then submit a warranty claim too and get paid twice. Like I said before, it's not for everybody. Why does everybody want me to take my car to the track to prove something to you. I can use a dyno to take my driving skill or more like the lack of it out of the equation, I have never run a 1/4 mile what would I be proving. The Dyno only tells you there was a gain from the mod, the actual number is not important. I have let other GXP owners drive my car, they are getting the tune becuase they liked it. Stop by I will let you drive my car. Thats the only "proof" I offer.
