It's my understanding that the brake vacuum has been changed on the 08 model, thus causing this "spongey" feeling in the brakes upon initial start-up. Mine does it, too. I posted in the other thread that I had a scary moment the other day as I was leaving a parking lot. The car had been sitting for several hours, and as I was exiting the lot, the brakes were very unresponsive. My car just sort of slid right past the stop sign and almost went right out into oncoming traffic. Luckily, I managed to get it stopped in time...but I agree, this IS indeed a serious issue that Saturn/GM must get resolved before somebody gets seriously injured or killed. From what it looks like to me, this issue is only affecting the 08 RL's...as part of this brake vacuum "change" involves the Stabilitrak system...or at least I thought it did.
