Don't sell the LS9 Short.
It's well under-rated at 100hp/liter, and there is a lot more to be pulled out of that engine and no official power has been given for it.
Also I have heard that sqabble from too many Ricers. My LS1 'only' makes 61 hp/liter, under half of the redline, but its makes much more power and has just as good if not better fuel economy, plus an awesome sound.
All that from a 'dinosaur', OHV, push rodded, 2 valves per cylinder engine.
