Since you are a newbie I will cut you some slack. You will have some condensation in your tail lamps for the simple reason that it has built in weep holes to let the moisture out. So you will have some condensation. It should not be enough to puddle up in the bottom of the housing. As to the part that I told you on the front of the car. The adjustment slots for the front lights. The reason is try putting a screwdriver aka screwstick on a small adjustment screw with the front hood down and you will then appreciate the little funnel for the screwdriver....Skip....
