Yes, lettering for shirts should be fairly simple as more intricate designs don't look good when transferred. I really like the pic you did after the Superbowl, nice retro feel for a reunion. Add a close up of the car instead of the plant, or a close up of the sticker on our door jambs that has the map of DE on it and it would be perfect!!!!
