I hear ya on the sound issue, too loud is not fun for everyday driving .

I had the Magnaflow full system on the 07 Base for a year and loved it until we hit the Highway After driving the 08 RL around with stock exhaust you realize just how loud it was !

I am always looking for more HP/Performance but is anyone out there offering this without (in my opinion loud exhaust) ? I know with motorcycles they offer quieter vs race baffles

To RPI or anyone else out there, What I want is more performance, but also a sleeper. "Looks and sounds stock" but runs like a bat out of hell
What can be done using the stock exhaust on the RL to increase performance

Remove cat? Don't have emission testing where I live.
Intercooler? Still do not understand what this does?
Intake? Installed K&N and not much difference.
