Personally, I think what ever will increase the appeal and production numbers of the platform is good and this is one way to do so. This may insure a longer run of Kappa cars.
I prefer the Sky in convertible form because of the sharper, crisper lines but I like the Solstice Coupe version better than the Sky. The round shape of the cabin compliments the lines of the Sol better then the edges of the Sky.
That if you don't like it, don't buy it. Everyone is entitled to their opinion and none of us seem to be shy about expressing them on here either.
JohnD, the rename is a good even though GM's main club is GM Roadster club but I'm all for acceptance of those different than the originals here
. I've certainly had to deal with acceptance issues all my life.
