It disengages the throttle. Promise.


IE: Gas mashed to floor. Whaaaaaa. 6250 rpm, you slam the clutch in and keep gas to the floor. Your engine doesnt shoot up to redline and bounce off of it, but rather, the gas pedal (throttle) input is disengaged and the engine stays at 6250 rpm until you successfully put it in the next gear and release clutch.
