I didn't lose any boost pressure and haven't seen any codes indicating a problem. The CAI intake noise is notably louder than the stock air box but still relatively quiet. The blow off between shifts while boost is being generated (I have a manual) is very odd sounding and quite loud. Naturally, if boost pressure is at 0, shifting (or rapidly releasing the gas / throttle) won't produce this loud blow off noise.

I selected Dejon because I have read nothing but good reviews on the Solstice Forum (DEJON-Dave is a supporting vendor over there) regarding his products. Also, I have a Black Onyx Red Line and I liked the way the red Kappasphere reBAR looked against the cars black paint so I thought I would try and do all the accents in red. Next up is a new Intercooler, Dejon red Intercooler piping and a Westers tune.

Sweet. The Swoosh is normal when you get rid of the stock airbox....usually. That is the sound I love. A big V-8 rumble and a boosted 4 cylinder......yaaaaaah. Glad to hear no check engine lights....keep me posted. Hey what did you pay and do you have a link for the vendor? Thanks!
