GM Bulletin # 08153 For Brake Symptoms

Took a road trip from just north of Nashville to Pensacola and back this week. This morning on the way back as I crossed back into TN I got a ck engine light. I pulled into the rest area and called ONSTAR to perform diagnostics. They told me that it appeared to be an emisions problem, but nothing serious and to go to the dealer at my convienience.

I went straight to the dealer, and they said that the code was P013A, O2 sensor too rich. Ulitmately cleared but here is where the brakes come in.

While waiting the service advisor came out and told me that they wanted to make the GM recomended repair for our brake issue. I was told that they were going to change the programing to increase the brake vacum.

Has anyone else had this done? I will post my observations after I have driven her for awhile.

A thousand miles this week with most of it top down was most excellent!
