Interesting comment. I thought the programming dealt with the Optimized Hydraulic Brake (OHB) function, not the vacuum. I find it hard to believe there is any "programming" that can increase the vacuum. Vacuum is pulled from the manifold. There is no place in the manifold to squirt in bits and bytes...and even if you could, they don't create vacuum. The possible exception is programming that runs the engine higher on first start and then quickly retards the throttle, which might build vacuum more quickly in manifold and subsequently in the brake vacuum cylinder.
The OHB is computer driven...so bits and bytes could make more direct difference at that point.
