Well, this was enough to get me to register and post.

Please, put the "no lift shift" function in that the 08 Cobalt SS turbo has. It cuts the spark and realigns the cams for .2 of a second. You keep the gas to the floor and shift. No banging and no damage. Boost remains up so lag is minimal.
