Spinning tires

Yes yes yes... you don't want to spin the tires, traction is better to make you launch, blah blah. But if you wanted to lay down some rubber how do you do it?

When I was younger I was able to lay LOTS AND LOTS of rubber with an AMC Gremin with a 3 speed manual slant 6 engine (yes really. It would also chirp the tires between gears too). I also had no problems with a 5.0 Mustang, a 440 Dart, and a 442 Oldsmobile but I am having trouble with my Sky. Traction control is the only thing I have off when I try to spin the tires.

If I slide my foot off the clutch at about 2,500 - 3000 it typically lugs.

If I go up above 3000 (don't ask me how high I ain't telling it was an oops) I got clutch slippage. Great smell.

Clutch seems to be fine, puling in third gear with the brake on the car really lugs without the RPM's popping up and it pulls fine.

I once got it to spin the rear wheels a little around 3,000 RPM but it wasn't steady like there was wheel hop or something chirp chirp chirp chirp chirp.

So any advice besides getting a Mallet?
