That's the way it is at my dealer. They even do a lot of my aftermarket work. Many dealers however have service managers who are REAL anal about that stuff and the techs have to go along with it. The first saturn dealer I ever dealt with told me that if I upgraded my stereo with an aftermarket one, my ENTIRE warranty would be voided!!
