I am not willing to sacrifice P/S for a .1 or 2. The concept of a daily used car sans A/C in SC is unacceptable after the age of 17. I could live without P/L in a car that I can reach the passenger button. How do you have a working alarm without power door locks? Our roommate has a car that doesn’t have a key fob. That is one step away from getting out and cranking the starter. If this was my AX only car I could see a radio delete, rerouting to bypass the A/C compressor, maybe even taking it out. But, how do you live like that daily? As far as Nav; I can read a map, I just don’t see the need for it. Had the monsoon not come in this car we would have never ordered it. Oh! And yeah, exhaust HAS to exit out the back; I never want to hear the exhaust. The ‘Vette owners we run into on the street are all middle aged men with teeny weenies who barely exceed the speed limit and are the last ones off a light. I can’t remember the last time I saw a ‘Vette on the street getting treaded like she deserved to be treated. YMMV -J

Well I lived in the Detroit area for over 8 years so I am very familiar with some of the creature comfort sacrifices some people make to get a little more of an advantage.
Never want to hear the exhaust? Oh man, you have not lived until you hear and feel the rumble of the V8 under the hood.
I would not have bought the Sky without these comforts but I did not buy it for racing.
My 92 Camaro did not have a fob until I put an alarm in it but I can't say that has really ever bothered me. Oh no I have to put the key in the door.
My winter car (89 Grand Marquis) has no AC and neither of the front windows go down. I still drive it in the Summer here in KS in 100+* heat. It is warm but so what, there are a lot of people in the US who have it far worse than that. No AC in the house would be pretty unbearable though.
