I went to the DC one last year too, FedEx Field was a good place for it although I wish they had opened up more space for it. The parking lot wasn't exactly the best surface to race on though because I was sliding all over the place in the time trials, whereas the year before when I went to Revitup in Miami it was on an actual track which made the conditions a little bit easier. It was still fun though, I think the best part about last year was the drag race in the trailblazer SS, I must've done that like 8-10 times to try and keep beating my own score.
Anyways, I'm guessing that AMCI (the ad agency that puts on Revitup for GM) has cancelled it for this year. They usually release dates and locations and such by early June, and since that hasn't happened I would guess that it's not gonna happen. GM needs to save every penny they've got, which is a shame because I always look forward to Revitup every year. There are other events out there from Dodge and Mazda and stuff but they are SO much more expensive and not as fun. Revitup was easily the best driving experience and marketing event that a car company could offer. It brought people that weren't even that interested in cars out to the event because it was free to just do the test drives.
Fingers are still crossed that it will happen this year, but I wouldn't get my hopes up.
