Nah your're not going to gain more hp then a good tune but it is most defiantly the best supportive mod/the base for any real mods.
You will gain hp though just not as much as you would gain from a tune.
Exhaust is a most defiantly a must though.
Yes its going to throw codes when you open it up. I don't know how to get rid of or trick it so the codes don't get thrown. You will have to search on here more and the solstice forum. Someone has had to figured it out by now.
Where I come from with the SRT-4s we have a few tricks for stage 0 or any of the Stage1+ PCMs don't throw the code becauase I guess MOPAR expected you to upgrade your exhaust(and sold exhaust)
To be honest I don't own a sky or solstice. I just came on this forum reading up because my father has been interested in a Solstice GXP. So I was just looking around seeing what is popular on the boards and getting a sense of what kind of knowledge is on the boards compared to the SRT-4 forums where there is an abundence of knowledge and information. I registed just to send a PM to someone but I figured Id help a little since your post didn't have any replies to your questions and I knew the answers.(well except the code problem)
