Well, it went to the Solstice, but considering our pedigree I figured I would put this in the performance forum.
My reflection was on the competition in the T2 class. Many of us know the Solstice won, but how many know the competition. I decided to look it up, and here you go:
Quote:
BMW M3, 330i, Z4M
Cadi CTS-V
Camaro Z-28 (98-02)
Ford Mustang Cobra (99-02)
Ford Mustang GT & Shelby GT
Nissan G35
Lotus Elise
Lotus Exige
Mitsu Lancer EVO
Nissan 350Z
Subu WRX Sti

And who finished one-two-three in last years SCCA runoff?
1. Solstice GXP
2. Solstice GXP
3. Solstice GXP
The only problem with the SKY is we don't have the K Suspension package as a stock option, and I hear the suspension was a big piece of the performance package. If it ain't stock option, we can't use it in T2
Sooooo....I guess we won't be seeing any SKYs in the SCCA winner's circle this year. But it is nice to know how rock solid our platform really is. Most of the cars listed in the competition list have box scores that outperform the Kappa. Yet, when you wrap it all together on the track (the entire package), the Kappa not only took top spot, but took the top three!
