Interesting stuff, I suppose, but ya can only repeat it so many times. We do tend to meander in discussions, as discussions will. A matter of degrees. Go off-topic but still somehow related? Might be ok. Cross a line and go way off topic and start getting personal, yeah, I suppose everyone has their own "line". Sure, some folks come into a thread with an expectation, and it can get frustrating to find 50 posts as not seemingly related to the thread title as the discussion progressed.

Grab some buds and head to a bar. Pick a topic. Try to keep track on on-topic vs off-topic, and just how far things meander about, quite possibly coming back around to the original topic perhaps several times.
