A low tech solution is to get some felt with a sticky back from the local arts and craft store. I know several folks who have used that to cover the blocks (me included) and it is still suck months later. Hope that helps.
Thanks everyone! Mike, that seems like a great solution! I was trying to figure out what type of material would work best instead of the foam, and felt does sound like a great alternative. Are dealers aware of this change in the block from a few months back?

The dealer said that I should expect a call from the service manager today and I now have other stories to back up my claim, because initially I was blamed when I took the car back the first time for not pressing the top down far enough and I knew that wasn't true.
