Ah memories as far as driving around on the autobahns in Germany. Did that done that for about 5 years in total with 2 tours. After I re-upped in early 70's, I bought me one of these to drive over there..

This was the closest picture of one that I could find on the WWW that looked & resembled my baby, it looks like mine as far as the colors and the top, metallic gold paint black top. BUT, I had fancy rims and better tires and a nice /wing/ spoiler. Dodge Charger 440 R/T. The only one in Europe at the time. The only other "competitor" I had was a 442 Olds in Frankfurt was he, (I was up north in Wesel).. & that poor fellow didn't ever want to race me.. Also, I brought that puppy back home with me, FYI Bogie, drove home from Arizona to Florida on leave and in Texas, in the desolated areas of I-10 bwt San Antonio & Dallas I believe it was, You can run "autobahn speeds" (at least you use to), I certainly did back then..

In Germany, the Fastest I ever had it was 155MPH trying to catch up to a 911that absolutely blew by me and I was cruising at 100-110MPH just outside of Cologne late night at about 1-2AM. Finally caught up to the 911, (after 30 minutes of chasing tail lights, she had a head start ) at the out skirts of the city. Gorgeous blond babe driving, impressive.. Only other cars that competed were the high end BMW's and a few Benz. On the autobahn, none could touch me with the power & torque I had, they always caught up to me however in the mountains and twisties, and on a few occasions, actually attempted to pass me AND succeeded, which of course I was always able to reclaim on the next straight away.. It was fun, challenging and very dangerous.. young people do foolish things, back then, a vet in a no speed limit environment, I was one of them back then.. Ah memories..

Oh BTW, that vette running there is definitely hot.. I would do it
