USN CWO3 (Ret) just this February. 23 years as Gas Turbine Mechanic E3 to E-8 then commissioned to CWO. Retired last Feb. as Chief Engineer of Aegis Destroyer in SD. Now work at the National Labs in Livermore (I was bored after a month of retirement).
Son is a FC2 deployed and returning in August, guess he learned from me and decided he didn't want the excruciating hours of an engineer!
Looking forward to a drive with USMC in about a month!!
