Hi @All,

I recently purchased my 1st Kappa last month and have been poking around the site for the past few weeks. I have to say that I love my new ride! These cars are so much fun to drive, and this community seems great.

I unfortunately won't be able to make it to Lexington but as a recent former Louisville resident I know that it is a great place for a dive. I hope everyone heading that way has a great time. I will definitely do my best to make sure that I don't plan anything in the month of June next year.

Thanks for reading!

You didn't happen to purchase a red Sky near the Texas/OK border did you?

My neighbor was just on a flight back to Dallas, and she told me that the guy she sat next to had just bought a Sky last month.

She mentioned that her neighbor (me) had just replaced one after totaling one. He kept asking her questions about it but she couldn't really tell him anything.

In any case, welcome to the forum!

Where in the Dallas area are you?

So funny you ask. I did test drive a 2009 Red Sky Redline in Plano before buying mine (blue 2008 Redline) and did have a conversation with some about it a few weeks back on my trip back from Louisville, ky through Chicago.

I am in Duncanville (Yuck!). I didn't know any better when moving down here and moved into a shady apartment complex and I have already had my car keyed. It is all good now, but man was I upset when I saw it. I think someone tried a "Dukes of Hazard slide" across my hood!

That picture says it all. Its taken from the up stairs window. Just cant stop looking at it can you? I have had mine for over a year and I still want to sit by the window so I can look at it. I dont think you ever get over that.

It was more about my car getting keyed because I moved into a bad apartment complex in Duncanville... I think someone tried to do a "Dukes of Hazard type slide" across the hood!
