Antonio's new ride!!

Yeah, as promised, I'm not going anywhere......even though I'm not a Kappa owner anymore.

Just thought you'd all like to see where I've gone from the Redline. Had a little photo shoot the other day with a friend's nice SLR.

It's a 2002 Z06 All stock
It's got a big yummy LS6 engine.

I plan on giving it a completel detail tomorrow....hopefully get it to shine better than the Sky did

I have some plans for this car. I want to put it on our local road course, and get started with obtaining a race license

That and the Lotus Elise are about the only 2 cars that I would trade for my SKY right now!

Antonio, go with an MGW Shifter, especially if you are tracking it!! Looks great, and I definitely know how they handle. My son's '04 Z went into Quality Motorsports today for a cam package, expecting 430 RWHP on motor and 550 rwhp on spray when finished, these LS motors rock!!!!!

Once again Congrats on a great machine. Call me if you need some input.

BTW for your information, according to my Corvette Black Book, 1,814 Electron Blue Z06's were produced in '02.

I'd rather have a "there goes another one", I get stares and thumbs up all the time in my Z, so they are not that common People always check out Scarlett in Parking Lots etc. They usually say "Wow, a Z06!!" Followed by the usual performance questions

Could it be the Z06 emblem?

cool, great to know I may have to pick up one of those black books.

Thanks for all the compliments everyone. Yeah, the sky got more initial looks, but I've had longer conversations already about the car once they see the Z06 badge. Either way, both are/were great cars, and I'm happy with my choice. There's few cars I would've traded the sky for, and this was one of them.

As far as tubing goes, I can't I'm sorry. I have work this weekend, and picking up overtime on Sunday at my second job, so this whole weekend has been booked.

Congrats on your new baby May she carry you as far as you want to go, safely.

Around here in NY/NJ/CT you do see a lot of Z06's but it is one of the best sports cars money can buy. I hope you got a sweat deal, the market it is very good for V8 buyers right now. When I get my 2010/2011 Camaro SS we will have to whale out on the track out there in Englishtown!

Good Luck Buddy, just be careful, "with great power comes great responsibility". She is light and powerful, not ALWAYS a great combo, even for those with many years experience, just ask ernest, and he is a veteran behind the wheel!

PS- We need more info. Power, Milage, features...........share away!

Congrats my friend, I truly hope it all works out for ya, buying a 6 year vette Z06 could be hazardous to your wallet.. You know how I feel about used cars..

Never the less, I hope you picked a good one and did a thorough research on its history before pulling the trigger.. How many miles does it have? and did you trade the your R/L in for it? Of course as far as I'm concerned, picked the perfect color.. Only draw back I see, its not a soft top, is it at least a T top? Again good luck and don't get lost, altho we know your gonna join the vette forum heck I would..
