G8 ST resemblance?

When I look at the profile of the G8 ST, it reminds me of a stretched out Fiero. Does anyone get that little flashback besides me? As an attempt at a visual aid, I tried to demonstrate my point with Paint (yes, Paint. Don't harass me too badly on the quality please.)...

I've had a couple of Fieros, so I see it too. This looks like an uglied-up blend of Fiero Formula (notchback), El Camino and pickup truck. What were they thinking?

Yeah, that's the notchback. I think your photo of a fastback is a much better looking car than the G8 ST.

A tumor, maybe? (http://www.geocities.com/fdomauricio/quasimodo2.jpg)

Or maybe they are overcompensating for the Sky's lack of trunk space.

It has a bed in back like an El Camino.

Oh that's horrible! But some people will love it. I just don't know how some people can go to a dealer look at an ugly car and say, "oh yea, that's the one I want!".

Steven Wright has a comment about Braille keypads on drive-through ATMs. It's a small target demographic, but it must appeal to somebody.

I'll bite. I kinda like it. If I were in the market for a new car or truck I'd still buy a car or a truck, but it is kinda badass in an odd way.
