Kappa name

OK,, where does the "Kappa" come from? I am assuming the name of the factory, but a couple other threads have used different plant names.

No I am confused again. Can anybody shed some light?

That's dead on. The Grand Prix/Monte Carlo/Regal/Impala are all W-body platforms. The old Camaros and Firebirds were F-body platforms.

Now you have the same thing but with greek letters instead. Kappa, Zeta, etc.
