What car did I see?

It had an emblem with a propeller like on an airplane, an air intake like the Elise Exige, and scissor-open doors like a Lambo.

Never seen one before. What was it?

I don't think so. It looked quite a bit like the Elise Exige, with over-the-roof air scoop and styling, but had Lambo doors and a very distinct badge on the front with a two-bladed propeller.

I would have taken a closer look, but the owner was sort of strutting around and I didn't want to fluff his feathers more than they already were.

Edit to add: Aha! I found it: Spyker Cars - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Never even heard of them before.

I guess you didn't see Basic Instinct II. Sharon Stone drives one into infamy. Very sweet ride, hand built.
