Honda Takes To The Sky

HONDA TAKES TO THE SKY ....

According to the Detroit News, Japan's Honda Motor Co. is planning its first foray into the American aircraft market. The automaker will partner with aircraft industry pioneer Piper Aircraft Inc. on the HondaJet - a lightweight craft that seats seven, including the pilot.

"Aviation has been an important dream of Honda for more than four decades," Satoshi Toshida, senior managing director at Honda, said Tuesday at a news conference at the AirVenture 2006 show in Oshkosh, Wis.
