.... The new Opel GT was awarded "Cabrio of the Year 2007" at the 77th Geneva Motor Show. The independent international jury elected the roadster for its attractive design. After the Opel Tigra TwinTop (Geneva 2004) and the Opel Speedster (Geneva 2000), the Opel GT is the third Opel model to receive this important award, established in 1994.
The modern definition of an athletic two-seater finds its form in the new roadster. It has a powerful front-mounted engine, rear-wheel drive, a cockpit with sporty instruments and a tailor-made fabric roof.
