NY Auto Show Pics, With a Treat For SkyBaby!
All my pics from the NY Auto show are here.
Potentially of interest to the forum were the following: A cutaway model of the 2.0L turbo engine. It was purdy! ![]() ![]() The new VUE. Much nicer than before! ![]() ![]() The Dodge Demon. Looked much better in person, but I'm still not too sure about that grille. ![]() ![]() This reminded me of MMike. Now that's a whitewall! ![]() At one point, a guy asked XMicro his opinion of the Nissan Z. Paul gave his thoughts, then immediately segued into his love for the Sky RL. As he's talking about it, he suddenly says, "oh yeah- you can see the torque curve right here!" and points over his shoulder as he spins around. Geek! ![]() The Aston Martin spokes-model was my favorite part of their booth. She looked ancient and mean. Awesome! ![]() Last edited by reedred : 04-08-2007 at 11:54 AM. |

This booth at the show was all about SkyBaby.
![]() ![]() ![]() Polly Pockets is coming out with a line of toy cars for girls. Fifty 'collectible' convertible models, half in pink. They have a play set too, called 'Race to the Mall' where you launch the car on a track, it drives up to the mall, and drops Polly's purchases in the back of the car! Here's a video of the lady giving her whole spiel: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HLwr1AUJ7vw Last edited by reedred : 04-08-2007 at 11:54 AM. |

Reed...the pictures in the magazines of the dodge demon does not give it justice....yours is so much better...the front end looks terrible in the magazines but it is impressive when viewing your pics of the car...they have a winner if they could upgrade their interior...i would consider owning one....going to the show next Saturday evening with the bride of course and then Carmines for dinner.

Kinda hard to figure out which car you're asking about. Do you mean the orange convertible at the end of Antonio's first post? That's the only Camaro in his pics. In his second post, there's a Chevy Volt, which has a similar front end treatment- I could see how they could be mistaken from only the one front end shot. I didn't take any pics of the Camaro, but here are more of the Volt: ![]() ![]() ![]() |
