DFW Gets Sleet/Snow

We got our first winter blast today, sleet & snow, a little accumlation Expecting hard freeze tonite Luckily for me Mayhem is warm & safe at the body shop and Serenity is warm & safe in my garage. Tempted to take Serenity out for some handling manuevers but with one SKY already in the body shop, and the way my luck is, better keep her home

Looks like the AURA is our transportation, she handles great in these conditons

As usual, everyone is freaking out down here, cause the weather men get 'em all wound up before they even head out the door.
But that is the way it has always been, so everything is on the norm

We now return you to your regularly scheduled forum reading!!!

That translates to 6-12 inches of snow up here...
They are "pre-coating" the streets with salt... Any guess as to why I put Sunni1 into the garage for the duration of the winter??

No pre-coating down here, they wait for accumulations to start sand/salting the bridges etc.

This could be the extent of our winter precip, hopefully so

You sure you don't want this weather, casparrot? I'm sure most of us would be happy to trade with your state. :p

The only reason i would want it is to take my wrangler out. But i still can't beleive those pics of snow in NM. never thought it would snow there, let alone Texas. All we are due for is rain, heavy wind, and possible thunderstorms.

I hope you all fair well in the winter weather.

Los Alamos is 7200 ft. and at the base of the Jamez Mountians.
Once in the 70's we got over 5 feet in like 36 hours!

Let me see if I can be clear. Keep that dang sleet and snow up there with you. I am a glutton for punishment though, I am going to the Big 12 playoffs in KC this weekend. Highs in the 20, lows in the teens and Arrowhead does not have a roof.

Don't worry, you'll get "IT( BAD WEATHER) " soon enough, Enjoy what ya got while ya got it.

BTW, These things are not too bad in reasonable amounts of snow, just watch out for chunks of ICE coming off of other cars.

If you don't like the weather just wait a day!

Yes it was spring weather here on Tuesday 70 degrees and rain storms, now 48 hours later not just cold and sleet NO we have Blizzard conditions! By Monday 50 degrees and sunshine, and some wonder why spring and fall you get sick, going from hot humid to freezing and then back to warm, would be better to just have it cold and snow all winter! Well no that would be bad, at least you get a few Sky days in the dead of winter! How boring to be were its in the 70's most of the time I will post the snow drifts tomorrow before it starts to melt, record storm for November
