Do you leave your hair up while pumping gas??

This one is for those of us with longer hair...what do you do when you're at the gas station pumping gas...leave the hair up or let it fly??

I usually leave mine up, but maybe that's why I'm not meeting any boys at the pump.

You should totally step out of the car (leading slowly with one long high-heeled leg), pull out a clip, and toss your hair into position shampoo commercial style. You should do this every time you get out of the car, not just when pumping gas- even in your garage.

I have to go home now and think about this some more in private.

That would work except for the leg part. I want to attract them...not scare them!!!

I think leaving your flowing trusses down would be sexier, but getting your hair caught in the pump could be problamatic

If I am wearing a hat I take it off. If it is in a pony tail it stays in the pony tail.

Well, you know me. I rarely bother putting it up. I find the wind tossed, Cousin It look helps me to keep a low profile when I don't want to be recognized. And a quick toss of the hair gets it out of the way quick enough if I actually want to make eye contact with someone.

But then again, I don't pump my own gas in Jersey, so I would look kind of silly letting my hair down for two minutes while I sit there in the car watching the attendant pump my gas, then scoopinh the hair back up again to drive off.

In regards to you lady's meeting young men at the pump, they may be intimidated by women who are able to afford to purchase petroleum products. Secondarily, it is cheaper to buy an attractive young lady a beverage at a local watering hole than it is to buy her a gallon of gas to get her attention, plus the beverage can lead to impaired judgement on the part of said young lady.

Hmm...I like your logic. Hadn't thought of someone buying me a gallon of gas instead of a beer before.

We're not so pampered out here in the flatlands of Podunk, IL as you kids are in the east. We have to pump our own gas!
