Skip, I am sure you can relate to this, I was watching Discovery the other night when they were showing an outdoor privy that was raised high enough off of the ground so that the hogs could wander around under it and take care of the droppings. I am not sure but it might have been in Alabama or Missouri or one of those high productivity states.

I missed that show. And to tell the truth my privy is indoors so the seat stays warm and golly when I flush it , the crap goes all the way to the sewer line underground to the sewage treatment plant where it is dried out and then goes to the garbage to steam plant to be burned for production of steam to be used on REDSTONE ARSENAL. The byproduct goes to be buried at the city dump. The methane off the dump goes to the steam plant too to be burned. The plant is down the street and around the corner from where I live and no smell...Skip...Yes I live in a progressive city...

Damn, that is so out of character for you. You just broke the whole image of the still in the trees, the outdoor privy, the dogs running off the revenuers, the musket above the fireplace, the old beat up Chevy truck, tractor torn apart in the front yard, old rutty road and the pile of fire wood stacked up against the house. This sounds like you live in the civilized part of Alabama.

Three men died on Christmas Eve and were met
by Saint Peter at the pearly gates.

"In honor of this holy season" Saint Peter said,
"You must each possess something that symbolizes
Christmas to get into heaven."

The first man fumbled through his pockets and pulled out a lighter.

He flicked it on. "It represents a candle", he said.

"You may pass through the pearly gates" Saint Peter said.

The second man reached into his pocket and pulled out a set of keys.
He shook them and said, "They're bells."

Saint Peter said "You may pass through the pearly gates".

The third man started searching desperately through his pockets
and finally pulled out a pair of women's panties.

St. Peter looked at the man with a raised eyebrow and asked,
"And just what do those symbolize?"

The man replied, "These are Carols."

And So The Christmas Season Begins....
