My daughter is a PFC in the US Army, learning a foreign language at the Defense Languge Institute in Monterey, California. She gets my SKY when my Red Line comes in.

US NAVY and ARMY....Ret CSM Spec Ops, SEAL (one of less than 500 in Vet Nam) 26 years with 5 year brake after Nam (had to heal) then back in the Army......now just opened my 11th business in Florida.and doing well....Seal9

Had the TS clearance like she probably has or will have when she graduates.

USN CWO3 (Ret) just this February. 23 years as Gas Turbine Mechanic E3 to E-8 then commissioned to CWO. Retired last Feb. as Chief Engineer of Aegis Destroyer in SD. Now work at the National Labs in Livermore (I was bored after a month of retirement).
Son is a FC2 deployed and returning in August, guess he learned from me and decided he didn't want the excruciating hours of an engineer!
Looking forward to a drive with USMC in about a month!!

grew up in military family. decided not to go that route, but i have an extreme bias towards military people. TONS of respect.

anytime i see guys in uniform (or simply find out that they are), i like to pick up their tabs at restaraunts.

figure its the least i can do.

That is Princess Patricia's Canadian Light Infantry...I served 1 basic engagement (3 Years) before I realized that the money was much better in Civvy world.

I miss shooting stuff though.
