I'm excited they just clinched their division. It's been a long stretch since they've played well--I've been in their corner every year, but this is WAY more fun. PLUS, when the 'Boys are winning, their games are shown in Cincy!!!

I asked for a Romo jersey to be under the tree...it might be about time to retire ol' #8!

I need San Diego to win in a bad way!!! I'm tied with the guy in 2nd for the week right now! Be nice if I could gain some ground and that guy! If SD wins, I'd gain 5 more points on him.

WHY CAN'T I GET RID OF HIM?!? WHY WON'T HE GO AWAY?!?!? WHY CAN'T HE UNDERSTAND THAT I HAVE TO WIN THE POOL?!?! UGGGHHHHHHH!!!!

No, this is the 3rd year I've played in this pool. I probably would have won the first year I played but I didn't know about it until Week #2. I came in 3rd. Came in 2nd last year...so it is my destiny to win it this year!!

If I remember correctly, he was the guy who won it last year. He had his turn! It's mine now! Plus, the T2TR III Libations Fund is depending on it. I've been in 1st place since week 3!! How dare he try to steal my thunder!?!

My buddy who tried to smack talk me when he was in 2nd place left me a voicemail the other day. I left him one back trying to find out who the guy was, but he didn't call me back. Wonder if he could conveniently be distracted for awhile so he couldn't turn in his picks?!?

Well, next time the Cowboys play in Who Dey Nation, and I am brave enough to wear a blue jersey to the game...and am getting harassed mercilessly...

Obviously, these were the "taunts" from the civilized fans in season ticket holders section who sat around the folks who loaned me their tickets... As I walked into the game through the tailgaters, the harassment was a LOT cruder and could only be repeated in the Frontier (if even there)!

Looking good! May be both keep doing well- I'm tied for first in a pool of about 500 people. If I can stay there and pull ahead, I think might trade in my Sky since it's been wrecked. I just don't know if I'll be able to part with it, though!

What kinda pool?!? Confidence, spreads, straight up picks?!?

There are 46 in this one. $5/week. $3 to the weekly winner $2 for the top 3 at the end of the season. Not sure how he divides the winnings cause it's kinda messed up from what I can see. 1st and 2nd place overall and then 3rd place is highest pick % if it isn't already #1 or #2. I had the highest pick % my 1st year so I won 3rd. The actual 3rd place guy was ticked. Right now I also have the highest pick %, but it means nothing unless I drop out of 1st or 2nd. Not gonna happen...I hope!

I will, but he'll cut into my lead my 3 more points. I'll be down to only a 9 pt lead if NE wins. I put a 11 on it, he has a 16 on it. I'll know in 6 more minutes where he and I are both at. The pool will update then.

Oh I'm in 2 Fantasy leagues and some other messed up ticket deal. Won $10 in one of the Fantasy leagues and made the playoffs in the other. I'll know tomorrow or Tuesday if I made the playoffs in the 2nd league. Not sure why I play Fantasy. I don't really know the individual players all that well. I like the confidence pool a lot better. I pay attention to overall team performance rather than the individual players.

Yeah...if you win a pool of 500 people, that's a lot of cash!! I'll only win another $400-$500 most likely. I think I won close to $300 last year for 2nd and there weren't as many players.

He and I are still tied for the week. I need MN and Seattle to win. I have more points on those 2 games than he does. But I've lost 10 pts and he's only lost 7. I'd like to see a couple of the other teams lose so he doesn't gain any ground on me.

I guess you have a point. I'll never forget one Easter Sunday in the bleachers at Yankee stadium. A family (obviously tourists) came in with their two young boys, and one of them was wearing a Red Sox hat. The language stayed clean, but the taunting that 10 year old kid took was pretty harsh!

Interesting. Never played one like that before. Oh and I sucked up the survivor pool this year. I think I took Jacksonville and lost in Week 1. Oh well.
