I agree roadsterrage!!! but... now....

What the HELL is wrong with people... there was a threat at my sons college threatening another VA Tech style shooting. .and basically asking for others to help saying that VA Tech messed up with only having one shooter... They did close campus today since the text style cryptic message said .......
12/9/07 6:45 p.m.

NIU officials are investigating a threat posted late Saturday evening in a campus residence hall which included a racial slur and references to the Virginia Tech shootings.
Written in black ink on a restroom wall in the Grant Towers D complex were two separate entries claiming that “things will change most hastily” in the final days of the current semester.
“Tell those n---ers to go home,” the first entry reads. “ME / OUT … Die Sem Burr 10th … Hmz Sdn Cr.” Officials believe the text message-style shorthand refers to “December 10” and “Holmes Student Center.” Underlined letters within the first entry spell out the word “WATCH.”
Following the initial entry is a second set of comments reading “What time? The VA tech shooters messed up w/ having only one shooter …”

Bob and a gf of his came home at 2 a.m. this morning and dont know when they will go back to campus. they are deciding if tomorrow is too soon to restart.. since it isnt the end of current semester yet.... This has got me just a bit freaked out. SkyBaby

Another Taco Tuesday is upon us. In another thread, MarlboroMike reminded me of one of my all time favorite movies:

I'm disappointed though...they still missed some of the best clips!

OK, 1 more!!!

OK, it's definitely Craptacular Thursday! I'm trying to make a poster on posterboard for our company holiday party tomorrow night. My plotter hates posterboard and doesn't like to print it.

I've just spent the last 1-1/2 hrs trying to get the stupid thing to print onto the posterboard!

I've set it up right, I've set the paper size right. It takes the paper in, checks the alignment...which can even be perfect, and spits the paper back out because it thinks it's misaligned. This is BS!!!!!!! POS!!!!

Hell no! I don't think it would give 2 ch*ts even if I mooned the damn screen. The freaking thing gets to the point where I know it likes the paper feed, then just as it gets ready to print it loses power and turns back on. It also goes back to the default printer in the software program. So there must be a glitch in the plotter. I've never had this much trouble with it. My patience only goes so far and it's done.

Can you tell I'm just a little bit PO'd!?! I was cussing it out big time. I finally gave up and just printed it out on 24 x 36 paper. I'll attach that to the posterboard and call it a day.

(I even tried to kick it, but it didn't work. Maybe it doesn't appreciate the hostility?!?)

Do you have any glitter by chance? Actually a red glitter pen? I did red poinsettias to match the party decorations. One of my officemates thought a red glitter pen would look kinda cool around the edge of the red poinsettas.

ihawk - where is "middle of nowhere" Illinois?

Our customer service girl works from home in Sparta, Illinois. She did a really good job for us - when her husband got transferred, we decided to let her work from home. Phone & computer work via internet - so they think they are talking to someone in our little office in WV, but she's really out there. Boy - sure does confuse people when she tries to explain that she can answer the phone but can't see the people in the office

She's way down my St. Louis. Probably 3 to 3 1/2 hrs southwest of me. I'm 30 minutes north of Bloomington/Normal, IL.

Little help here.

It seems I'm not alone with the if not work friendly, at least not corporate friendly "fashion show" chapter of the thread. I'm going to split off the ladies pics to a Frontier Chatroom thread. That seems the least invasive thing I can see to do. So, how about a bit of input. If we cut from post 407 down minus the two IL posts can we keep continuity?
