House was good too. He fired the "heartless b!tch" girl and the other girl #13 and kept the two remaining guys. Only to be told by his boss (I can't remember her name) that he should keep the one girl #13 and the two guys. We'll be heading into the new year with his team in place.

I need to catch up on Climbing Everest. I missed the 2 weeks prior to last night as well. Was last night just the "After the Climb" show? Cause I did catch a little of that.

I knew House was going to be good! I gotta get a new DVR receiver!

OK Kids...my office pal Soup and I are going to the Bulls game Saturday night. If anyone wants to tune in for a bit you'll see us for sure. Look just to the left of the Bulls bench. You'll see the aisle. On the left side in the 2nd row you'll see some goofy looking guy with a hat on. (J/K! Now watch, the one time he won't wear a hat will be Saturday!) That will be Soup. I will be sitting next to him. To make it obvious, I might wear my white Bulls hat. It will show up like the sun on TV!

7:30 on WGN I believe. They play Charlotte so they might have a chance!!

BTW, if anyone else is going, let me know and we'll pick a spot to meet up!

Oh that's cool!!! Anyone that even tries to climb that thing...as crazy as it is...

The physical abilities of these people are amazing! Wish I could do that! But I can barely run 2 miles! Speaking of running 2 miles...I gotta go before the fitness center closes.

Catch ya all later!

Out of curiosity, what DVR do you have? Mine didn't record House when it was supposed to either, I just happened to turn it on the TV about halfway through the show, and record the last half.

It was pretty good, I'm glad 13 got to stay, I was rooting for her.

Joke

Heard this joke the other day on the radio. A Children’s Sunday school teacher asked her class what the bible said about marriage. One child raised his hand and said Forgive Them Father They Know Not What They Do...

Why...yes!! I am!! Jordan's team playing Jordan's former team! Can't beat that! The Bulls have been more than disappointing for the talent. Also, I can't believe how much the ticket prices jumped! These seats went up $50 since last year!!! Our owners tix, so this is a business meeting!!

Gotta pay for all the talent that isn't producing at the moment I guess.

crazy

Took my moms car out when I was 16 and went to the mall with my friends not that big a deal but she found out and came looking for me and right at the time I was leaving the parking lot she found me but not before I burned rubber in the 85 tercel wagon right in front of her she was so mad that she didn't talk to me for a week but she never found out the rest of the times I did it.

I have a Hughes 2 Tuner Directv receiver with Tivo. It's just over 3 years old and the processor is about shot. The tuner works for the most part, but when I go into the menu...even to put it into Standby, it takes forever. It stops, then it thinks. Stops & Thinks. It finally will scroll down to Standby and then after a few minutes it will turn off.

It will still record, but it takes a good 20 minutes to get to the recording so I can watch it. No joke. Sometimes it doesn't make it then it powers itself down and back up and I get to start all over again. It's not worth recording anything. I'll get a new one once I take the time to tape off a couple of things I want that are on it.

Pretty sure it's screwed!

My backup plan is a true Tivo Series II DVR. The Directv receiver is separate from it. It's upstairs and I don't watch that TV much so I never think to use it until after the fact!

I once snuck (is that even a word) out of the house with my best friend my freshman year in H.S. and with hopped in the back of a truck with some guys we really didn't know, watched as one of the guys shot holes in the walls of the house we went to with a BB gun and then had to run when the mom of one of the guys came home. When we got back to my friends house, her window was closed. How in the world we ever thought we were going to climb up the house to get inside is beyond me. Her dad jumps out of a tree where he had been waiting on us. Boy were we in trouble. But it only got worse becuase after her parents called my parents, the next day a cop knocked on our door to supeona (spelling?) me to court about the guy shooting the BB gun in the house. Needless to say I never snuck out of the house again since my first time didn't go so well.
