Orting WA Memorial Day Pictures
I visited the Orting Soldiers' Home Cemetery today. I go there every few months to pay respect to the fallen. It's probably the most tranquil and serene place I've ever been aside from, believe it or not, the DMZ.
A couple of years ago I organized a cleaning of the Garfield Bldg at the Soldiers' Home and included a picture of that. It used to be the hospital but is now condemned. I found a little history on the Soldiers' Home and included a link for those who are curious. The fountain is well over 100 years old if I remember the story told to me by a resident.
