This is the new Mercedes Benz. Do you think you could drive a car with no steering wheel or pedals?

My father will occasionally talk about a prototype Pontiac that they brought to the plant that he worked at back in the ... late 60's (maybe early 70's) that had all the controls in a center stick like that. We know how popular those are now.

I think it's way more interesting to look at than it would be to drive on a daily basis. Unless the car flies, I think simpler (technologically speaking) is better in this case.

Sorta looks like a video game. I've crashed a few cars in those, but I eventually get the hang of it. Think my insurance company would mind the same trial and error with the car?

As many video games as I've played, I think this might be easier than the real thing. I am a drift master on the computer but only so-so in my real car
