Dear Lord!

I have to say that if I were driving a Metro, I'd definitely have some fun with it. I'm thinking murdered out with some spinners.

I may have had one in college, and once I got over it being a sh!tbox, I actually had a lot of fun with it. No one ever believed it really had a 3-cylinder engine, and once it was debadged people stopped ragging on it for the most part. I almost wish I still had it just so I could sell it- the things are going for $3-4K on Craig's List right now!

When gas hit $4.00 a gallon, folks at work freaked. We all parked our V6s and starting scouting all the four cylinder trade ins. I scored a 2000 SL2, and my friend the finance manager scored....you guessed it. A Geo Metro. Red with every dent imaginable, no AC, and 53 mpg! She only lives 5 minutes from work, so AC is not a deal breaker except on days like today. It's amazing what $400 can buy, lol. She and I are big Carolina Hurricanes fans. She ordered the perfect vanity plate for the Metro. PNLTY BOX.

Nice MPG but I'm sure the wing they installed on this one causes some drag and isn't the improvement they had hoped for.

hey if it makes them happy and it made a bunch of us smile and it was not held together with duct tape (which here is common to see) they are doing pretty good, I bet they laugh at others when they at the gas pump.

You know depending on how much $ the reflectors were each it could easily be more than the price of a coat of paint.

Theres around 500 on the doors alone.
