What is the source of your username?

I just saw a thread over on the solstice forum asking everyone the source of their username, thought I would start one here...

I'm a Slightly Rusty Knight in shining armour seeking slightly frazzled damsel in distress to go dragon and troll hunting.........

I am the KanMan --- not because I am from Kansas --- only because everyone has trouble with my last name. So one day my boss said " Today we are going to kick the Kan,Man" and it stuck.

Wulf, "Wulfy" has been my nickname since 1989 when a boss tagged me with that name after a particularly trying time for our group and we pulled through by becoming a team and ferociously holding on. I fought the nicname, now I embrace it. Especially since I rely on being 95 percent lamb the older I get. I am sure many of you have been there. I just added Sky to it.

My daughter was reading this Shakespeare play for required "Summer" reading for high school. It just seem to fit the color that I have on order too.

I'm often "dreaming" of a top down ride under the "Midnight Blue Sky" (corny I know.. but just work with me..) One day.. Real soon I hope..

I live just a few miles from the Blueridge Parkway... a road that I think the Sky would embrace. A match made in heaven... plenty of elevation... Just seemed to be the "right" name. Now my avator... I was looking for a black panther (to match my car color) and ran across this dude and just said hey....I like it...

My name "Way2Fast" was the name of a 130mph picklefork tunnel hull (mod-VP) race boat that I owned. I sold it last Spring when it got "wet"

Mine is a combo of my first and middle name. Lori Renee so it comes out Lorinee. My dad called me that when I was a little girl and now I use it for everything.

You obviously have a great sense of humor!

I've been qwack since I started chatting on Prodigy back in 1990.

My last name starts with Q and I wanted a name with "qw" instead of "qu"
My inspiration was daffy duck. Much later, it was pointed out to me that the name fit...being a dentist and not a "real" doctor.

My name came from what I like to do. Every year I go to the Caribbean and basically hop from island to island. Jamaica, Curacao, Dominican Republic, Puerto Rico and the US Virgin Islands. This year after buying 2 Saturn Skys, I may stick closer to home

Mine started out with my daughter's friends calling me Big Poppa or Big Poppa Pete. My brothers caught wind of that and bought me Bigdog brand T-shirts. The rest is history.

PS - I did get to keep the Poppa Pete part 4 1/2 years ago when my grandson was born. That is reflected on my license plate - PPA PETE

Easy, originally tried to register SkyKing, was already taken
Second choice was a twist on my Sky's color, of course mine is the proper way of spelling MidniteBlues, perhaps Saturn should learn how to spell eh??

My user name is actually the name of my bulldog. she was white with a black eye and reminded me of the dog in the series "our gang" that I loved as a child. Sadly, she had to be put down in July due to a shattered leg from chasing a squirrel. I figured since my other "nicknames" are not suitable for posting, Spunkie would have to do.
