Bill...I told u how amazing u r...this just proved it. I did not realize how old I really am/was. Sitting here and watching this, it did bring a tear in my eye, thinking back.

But here is one for you, they did not have Capt. Video and his video rangers. The reason being is that they burned the tapes...and what about Winky Dink and Joe E Brown, Pink E Lee...but u did me an honor and I thank you....anything I can do for you, just ask....

I'll take a raincheck,

My son is trying to get stationed at the Coast Guard Air Station in Atlantic City International Airport,
If he pulls it off I'll let you buy me a beer one day.

Captain Video was one of my favorites

That reminded me of the movie "Pleasantville".

A movie that I would suggest if you haven't seen it, especially if you felt nostalgic watching the clips! (It has great casting too!)

http://www.rottentomatoes.com/m/pleasantville/about.php

(Guess I shouldn't mention that I have only heard of a small handfull of the shows... and that was probably because of re-makes... Lot's of westerns back then!! Did the honeymooners really last until 1986??)

What a great site, I remember so well the "Black & White" days. Captain Midnite, Rocky Jones Space Ranger, Howdy Doody, what a great time to grow up in.

I enjoyed the television progams of black and white, but turn the clock back hmmmmm I have to think about that not all was good for everyone. Free white and twenty one comes to mind! But I must admit everything appeared clearer about right and wrong.

Most of those were just slightly before my time, but I remember a few of them. It's hard to believe how dramatically things have changed even in the last 25 years. Three networks, no internet and Pong. How did we ever survive?

I was born in 1950 and it is very inetersting as to what I recall and what I don't -- very little before that 53-55 era then I remember everything -- Trackdown and Government Men though are both mysteries to me. I remember watching Friday Night Fights when ever we visited one of my uncles - he loved boxing..
thank you what a great trip!

YUP, it did. Remember those feelings for Annette Funicello on Mickey Mouse Club? As Sonny James sang it: "Young Love,, first love, we shared with true Emotion. . . . . We watched her "develop" right there in Black & White
