winter air/summer air

I was wondering if any one else was going to put some new air in there tires for the summer season coming up? Its time to get that old winter air out of your tires!!!

Its best in the summer to run Hydrogen in your tires, the handling is improved dramatically

I do that , changing the air out, at least 4 times a year. Once for each season. You know summer air is thicker and heavier than the winter air. I also when traveling change the air in my tires when I stop at each welcome station in each state. Yes, I like to make sure I don't use another states air in the state I am currently in....Skip....Does anybody do differant?....

I don't change the air at each welcome center, but I do try to change the air in my tires at least 2 twice per year. I enjoy sucking the air out of each tire and blowing the back up again.

Isn't there something in the owner's manual about it? I can't remember which page...

I agree that the air should be changed. But, you have the summer and winter air mixed up Skip. Summer air is warmer and therefore lighter and thinner that winter air. Also, I know that it is risky taking women across state lines, but I didn't know about transporting air across state lines. Thanks for the tip.

Don't forget to check the headlight fluid and the muffler bearings too. These are critical for a well running Sky!!

I just thought she was just honoring her Yak Queen moniker. As for car love you should have seen what she was doing with her "Secret Santa Present" and the gear shift knob!! I'm not exactly sure what was going on, but I think Jellahy was involved

You are seriously confused my friend. It's the blinkers that need fluid NOT the headlights. It's the fliud that makes the lights blink.

Mufflers have used self lubricating elbow grease since 2005 so that isn't something that needs adjustment either. Please don't confuse these people!

OK, I thought this was about air in tires. But thanks for the tips about the blinker fluid and the muffler bearings. I thought it was still possible for a self-lubricating bearing to go bad though. I keep the Jellahy on hand just in case.

That may be correct for the Solstice, but the SKY has white funnel thingies attached to the headlights to allow a place to put the fluid. I don't recall seeing them on a Solstice, though. They must have sealed headlights with fluid that doesn't need to be replaced. Why would the two cars be so different?

But what about the humidity of summer air? Even though thinner from the heat, wouldn't the excess water vapor in the air more than compensate? I guess you could hook up a dehumidifier to your air compressor if you have one at home, but this wouldn't be practical when on the road.

I got the best (most expensive) fluid. Can someone here please post pics of where the blinker fluid filler cap is? I can't seem to find it.
